Youth homelessness is a crisis. Each night in Metro Vancouver, at least 385 young people are without a safe place to sleep.
Youth homelessness has risen by 32%, and many young people are facing this crisis alone — often after fleeing abuse, neglect, or unsafe living situations.
Double your impact for youth facing homelessness. From now until June 30, your donation will go twice as far thanks to the generous support of the Wubs Foundation.
Every dollar you give will be matched helping to provide shelter, safety, and support to youth experiencing homelessness through Covenant House Vancouver.
If you’d like to donate to Covenant House Vancouver, their Double Match Campaign is on now, where your donation will be matched dollar for dollar. Help more youth by doubling your impact! Visit www.covenanthousebc.org for more about the campaign and Covenant House Vancouver.

At Covenant House Vancouver, we know that youth homelessness isn’t a choice — it’s often the safest option for young people facing limited or dangerous alternatives.
That’s why they’re not a traditional shelter. They believe that investing in youth is an investment in the future of our entire community. Our commitment is to ensure that every young person has access to safe, affordable housing and the life-changing supports they need to thrive.
Their holistic approach begins on the streets, where the Outreach team meets youth where they are — offering food, basic first aid, supplies, and a compassionate connection. Youth are encouraged to visit our Drop-In Centre, where they can rest, enjoy a nutritious meal, take a shower, do their laundry, and begin building trusting relationships with staff.
At the Drop-In Centre, youth can also learn about the full range of services available at Covenant House Vancouver and connect with a youth worker for personalized support.
For young people who are ready for more stable living, the Crisis Program and Rights of Passage program offer safe, supportive environments. With the help of youth workers, social workers, and counsellors, youth can begin healing from trauma and work toward building the bright, independent future they deserve.
Covenant House Vancouver supports youth, age 16–24, who are experiencing homelessness. Covenant House’s trauma-informed, holistic approach includes:
- Safe Shelter & Warm Meals
- Mental Health & Addiction Counselling
- Medical Care
- Physical Activities & Excursions
- Education, Employment Support, & Life Skills Training
Covenant House staff walk alongside each young person, and offer relentless support, unconditional love, and absolute respect.
For youth who’ve experienced trauma or have had to leave unsafe housing, homelessness is often the last resort — not a choice.
Covenant House Vancouver meets youth where they are at, whether it’s on the street, through their Drop-In Centre, through their short-term housing for youth in crisis, or through their long-term housing program. The focus is always on building trust and helping youth take the next step forward — at their own pace.
