After he died in December, it was reported that George Michael had been working on a new record and there was a lot of unreleased music.
We now have a new version of Michael’s “Fearless,” featuring Nile Rodgers, listen to it out below.
The song was originally released as a B-side in 1990 and also featured on 2011’s deluxe version of Faith, though Rodgers’ updated version appears to feature previously unheard vocals, as Chris Evans’ mentions on his BBC Radio 2 show where the song premiered.
Rodgers responded on Twitter to a fan who mad ‘mixed feelings’ about releasing posthumous music:
You SHOULD have mixed feelings. No one’s heart was dragged through emotional ambiguity more than mine.Tears, uncertainty, happiness & #LOVE https://t.co/8cX4efAX1o
