Lady Gaga is heading back to the big screen, this time with “Hold My Hand,” from the soundtrack to the long-overdue Top Gun sequel.
She shared the news on Instagram.
#HOLDMYHAND ✈️🖤 OUT NOW, from the film #TopGun: Maverick. The song is an original piece for Top Gun: Maverick, the follow up to Tom Cruise’s ‘80s action classic. Gaga says the song is a
“love letter to the world during and after a very hard time, I’ve wanted you to hear it for so long.”
What do you think of the song?
It’s definitely a dramatic ballad that has that movie feel of Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away” than Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone”.
Top Gun: Maverick hits theaters May 26th.
