Bringing her passion for connecting people to causes that matter, Alyssa loves to facilitate the fusion of values into action and help incredible organizations increase their impact.

Amanda Sayfy – Executive Director Dress for Success Vancouver
Amanda Sayfy is a passionate non-profit executive with 20 years of experience in strategic leadership, fundraising, and advocacy. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Dress for Success Vancouver, having also previously held impactful roles at Family Services of Greater Vancouver, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. With a values-driven approach, Amanda is dedicated to advancing equity for women and fostering community resilience through Dress for Success Vancouver and beyond.

Elif Costello – Aldila Boutique
I began my journey in the hospitality industry at 15 years old and twenty-one years ago, I joined my family-owned women’s retail store, Aldila Boutique.
Since 1986, Aldila Boutique has been dressing women across the Lower Mainland and beyond and I am honored to continue this legacy of empowerment through style and exceptional service.

Heather is an accomplished Canadian entrepreneur, brand builder, and event producer whose experience in corporate environments inspired her to found WNORTH in 2015.

Karen Dosanjh – VP Marketing at OSI Digital
Karen Dosanjh is trailblazer in Marketing, Communication & PR in Canada and currently serves as the VP, Marketing at OSI Digital. Throughout her remarkable 30-year career, Karen has overcome both gender and cultural barriers to reach new heights in the global business & technology sector. In 2023, Karen was named a BC Business “Women of the Year” and in 2025, Karen was named a Top 20 South Asian Influencer in Vancouver by Urban Asia. This March, Karen launches ICONS Talk, a premier speakers’ forum which brings together influential visionaries, innovators, and changemakers with young leaders of our future.

Kristen Thomas – Director of Development, KinVillage
With over a decade of sales experience, Kristen has become a powerhouse in relationship building and community impact. As the Director of Development for KinVillage Association, she leads the “It Takes A Village” campaign, aiming to raise $3 million for a new day program space to support Delta seniors and their caregivers. Kristen’s journey began with a Division 1 Women’s Golf Scholarship at Sam Houston State University, where she honed her leadership and teamwork skills. After spending over 15 years in the wine industry, Kristen transitioned to the nonprofit sector, driven by a desire to make a tangible difference. In her current role, she is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors and their caregivers by creating programs and services that foster care, community, and support. Outside of her professional role, Kristen is a devoted wife and mother of two, with a passion for fitness, watching her kids play sports, beach walks, and giving back to her community.

For over five years, Laurie has shared her executive expertise and insight as an advisory board member with DKI Canada. Her dedication to team and company growth has been recognized at national industry events. Lisa Hoglund – Executive Director at Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation
Lisa Hoglund, Executive Director at Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, has a 20 year non-profit career marked by leadership in community engagement and development. Previous fundraising roles include BC Women’s Hospital Foundation and Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC. Lisa’s dedication to ensuring accessible healthcare for the community, drives the Foundation’s success. She is a current Board member of PADS and recently earned her CFRE designation as well as the King Charles III Coronation medal.

Mariat Jibril – Mij Consulting
Mariat Jibril is a dynamic DEIB advocate, sought-after speaker, and founder of Mij Consulting. A ForbesBLK Moderator and change catalyst, she uses her lived experience as a consultant skilled in ideation and problem-solving. Through transformational, actionable strategies, she empowers organizations to enhance productivity, drive exponential business growth, strengthen team bonding, and foster inclusion and equity for belonging and respect. Mary Flesher – Clinical Planner of the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment Project
Mary Flesher is the Chief Clinical Planner of the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment Project. With 32 years of experience working in health care, she started her career as a nurse, then a dietitian, and eventually moved into leadership roles that included large infrastructure projects. She values volunteering and currently serves on the Board of the Richmond Food Bank. She has completed her Master’s in Leadership, Project Management Professional (PMP), Procsi Change Management Practitioner and Lean Greenbelt designations and has published more than 50 health-related articles.
