It’s a milestone year for Dress for Success Vancouver as they celebrate 25 years at the 12th annual Success Luncheon on November 20th at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.
Dress for Success Vancouver empowers unemployed and underemployed women to achieve financial independence and personal success through full and fulfilling employment. This is done by providing each client with professional attire to secure employment, but it is also about much more than the suit. Dress for Success Vancouver provides mentorship, job search and employment retention support, and builds the confidence and community that carries clients forward in their journeys. Our clients are geared with the knowledge that they can actively define their lives, the directions they take, and what success means to them.
I recently had the chance to chat with Amanda Sayfy, Executive Director of DFS Vancouver and reflected on the last 25 years and how to support the organization.
