The International South Asian Film Festival (iSAFF) is in full swing right now. Love that the theme this year is ‘Crossroads’ – to celebrate South Asian cinema and culture as a hub and a place where many roads intersect.
The festival this year will bring together 19 World Premiers, 8 North American Premieres, and 23 Canadian Premieres.
The festival kicks off with ‘Boong’ and features standout filmes like ‘Dear Jassi’, ‘The Glassworker’, and ‘We Strangers’, concluding with the closing film ‘Shook.’
I recently had the honour of chatting with Usman Riaz, the director of The Glassworker. Listen below and be sure to add to your watch list. It will be premiering at the festival this Sunday at 12:30pm
