The Vancouver Christmas Market has opened its gates for a festive 11th holiday season.
I have gone a few times before and my kids were really young and didn’t remember, so we loaded up the car and left the burbs on a family adventure to check out this germane-inspired market.
The first thing the kids saw was the carousel, which they loved and it really adds a nice touch to the market.
The other thing I noticed was how much the market has expanded.
There is an expanded Alpine Lounge space and the bierhall-style area is really spaced out to be able to maintain social distancing. There is also more coverage to stay dry and allow for a more comfortable market experience.
There are so many delicious offerings for food and beverages as well. This year you will find over 30 vendors.
We sampled some pretzels and I enjoyed a glass of mulled wine.
Another thing I absolutely loved was the live music. It really set the tone for the market. Highly recommend going and supporting local vendors and picking up some unique items for the holidays.
