It’s no surprise to you that this has been a particularly tough time for students. Stress is increased while coping strategies are limited-but creativity and celebration are powerful tools to help improve well-being, especially when human presence is limited. As a result, we have decided to take a chance and create a video contest showcasing talent and creativity for all youth across Greater Vancouver.  We’ve been able to raise some cash and have received some prizes to help motivate the youth to get thinking, moving and creating.  Submission deadline is June 1. The project then culminates in a live stream event online for all (June 16), hosted by Canadian Comedian John Cullen.  It showcases the top videos and then leaves it open to the public to vote on the (many) winners.
We hope to reach as many youth as possible to give them the chance to get involved.
