Hey Prince fans…it is finally going to happen. Prince’s legendary vault (pictured above) will open in the fall. After much legal wrangling and behind the scenes organizational grunt work, the first full length album of previously unheard Prince compositions will be released September 28th. Prince was such a prolific song writer it’s said there is enough, recorded, mixed, finished but unreleased songs in his music vault to fill 100 albums. But it’s taken the vault curators 2 years to sort through and catalogue all that material. Together with Prince’s estate they are now allowing us to hear what Prince left behind. The first taste came last week with the release of previously unheard version of “Nothing Compares 2 U.” More is to come in the fall . Listen to it below. It’s the first of much more to come.
