Music Heals Strike A Chord Gala Raises Over $500,000

Last Thursday, Music Heals hosted their annual Strike A Chord gala. The sold-out event took place at The Commodore Ballroom.

The surprise lineup of musicians included:
Sam Roberts
The Sheepdogs
Dawn Pemberton with the Roots n’ Wings Choir
Star Captains with Prevail and Kyprios
Chin Injeti with Ty Waters
The Sardis Drumline

And the entire evening was hosted (also a surprise) by George Strombolopolous!

A highlight of the evening was Sam Roberts leading the crowd in a moving toast to the late Gord Downie. Roberts also joined The Sheepdogs for a cover of the late Tom Petty’s Wildflower song ‘You Don’t Know How It Feels’.

The evening raised over $500,000 for Music Heals!
