Bruce Springsteen, The Boss and frontman for the E-Street Band, turns 68 today. Springsteen grew up in Freehold, N.J., the son of a legal secretary and a father who moved from job to job. This Jersey house is where Bruce Springsteen wrote the ‘Born to Run’ album.
Bruce and his wife, Patti Scialfa, have been together almost 30 years. They were married in 1991 and have three grown children. Evan is a singer-songwriter, Jessica is an equestrian and Sam is a firefighter. Bruce credits Scialfa with helping him through his bouts of depression.
Don’t let his age fool you. Bruuuuuuuuuce is showing no signs of slowing down. His recent concerts in the U.S. have been his longest ever, topping four hours.
